About YOUNG STAGE.

YOUNG STAGE is the only international circus festival in Switzerland and belongs already after 3 years to the most important international festivals worldwide and to the top-class events in Switzerlands' calendar of events. The festival offers young professional artists from all over the world a platform to present their work to the audience, to experts and to a professional jury showing them what „contemporary circus" means nowadays. The young artists get the chance to win prizes and engagements in well-known circuses, varietés and tv-shows and can make many international contacts to agents, showproducers and circus directors. The festival ist the „Swiss springboard" to a successful artistic career.

Already after it's 3rd edition in May 2011 the festival has a quite successful story. The feedback from the audience, the press and from professional circles is amazing and all aims have been even excelled. YOUNG STAGE shows that „contemporary circus" literally inspires the audience and that today's young artists have a big chance to succeed in international showproductions.

International circus festivals offering artists a platform are successful and established events all over the world. Up to the appearance of YOUNG STAGE, Switzerland has lacked something similar.

Already now, YOUNG STAGE belongs to the circle of the most relevant festivals. Or the festival in Monte Carlo, Cirque de Deamin in Paris or the European Youth Circus in Wiesbaden – YOUNG STAGE is already one of them and is well-known for it's hospitality, the contemporary show and the high professional organisation.
