For many years Nina worked as a dancer and model all over the world. Her career brought her to the Moulin Rouge in Paris, to the vanguard choreographer Maurice Béjard in Lausanne, to Israel, Peking and many other exotic locations worldwide. After further studies at the International Arts School in Beijing/China she became a very successful contortionist.
Denise Biellmann is considered one of the best professional female ice-skaters in the world, she became famous through the spin named after her (Biellmann Spin), she won the „World Professional Titel“ 11 times, in 1995 she was voted „Swiss Sports Person of the Century“, these days she is still in demand as a performing artist
Rachel gained a BA(hons) in Dance Theatre and a Msc in Dance Science. She was the company dance captain and rehearsal director assisting in the creation and restaging of Matthew Bourne’s work performing internationally in the company’s productions and films. She was rehearsal director for Verve the postgraduate company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance and a faculty member at dance schools such as TrinityLABAN (UK), NSCD (UK), Rambert Ballet School (UK) and a guest teacher in various posts worldwide. In 2011 Rachel was offered the opportunity to join Cirque du Soleil as Assistant Artistic Director of Corteo, which has allowed her to expand her passion for theatre and contemporary circus.
As head of the entertainment department of Swiss Radio and Television SRF, Christoph Gebel exactly knows what succeeds on show-stages. For 10 years he has been program director of Radio DRS 1, he intensively gave attention to variety and cabaret (Kleinkunst) and has great interest in theatre and dance.
Born in Bristol (GB). After studying at London's prestigious Ballet Rambert School, he joined their company as a dancer. Wherlock was Ballet Director at Hagen Theatre in Germany from 1991 to 1996, then spending three seasons as director of the Lucerne Ballet before moving to Komische Oper Berlin as artistic director and choreographer of Berlin Ballett. He has been director and head choreographer of Ballett Basel since 2001, and artistic director of the renowned festival «basel tanzt» since 2004.
Christoph Haering is originally a theatre stage director and these days the manager of the Performing Arts and Literature department at the head office of Culture and Social work of the "Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund". He is also project director for the „Steps" dance festival. As a jury member he judges the auditions in the field of movement theatre for the talent competition of the "Migros-Kulturprozent".
