The winners of the last festival, Trio Vertex, look back on their time during and after YOUNG STAGE!

Excited was Trio Vertex when they found out that they will be part of the YOUNG STAGE Festival 2022. They received a warm welcome in Basel.

“The team is super lovely. Everyone from the drivers to catering to social media to organisation – and everything in between – were incredibly friendly.”

Besides discovering the beautiful city and occasionally swimming in the Rhine river, the focus was of course on the festival and the participation in the competition.

“We were incredibly focused. But above all we remembered how pleasant of an atmosphere there was. Great artists, great company. Zero pressure from anyone. “

Trio Vertex also enjoyed the many workshops and coachings.

“We learnt a lot about European circus and how many companies run themselves which was good. We haven’t worked so much in Europe so it was good to hear. We were able to make great contacts, which helped us a lot on our way!”
