Handling of personal data

Personal data is information with the help of which a person can be determined, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, the email address or the telephone number. But also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were viewed by someone else are considered personal data.
Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by us if this is legally permitted or if the users agree to the data collection.
If corresponding data is collected, this data can be used accordingly with analysis and tracking providers.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties, unless it is explicitly mentioned (e.g. details of your data on the flyer “audience award”). We would like to point out that we send a newsletter adapted as a service, accordingly click data can be evaluated linked to e-mail addresses. In every newsletter you have the possibility to cancel your subscription.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that enable the storage of specific information related to the device on the user’s access device (PC, smartphone or similar). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they serve to record statistical data on website use and to be able to analyse it for the purpose of improving the offer. The users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the comfort of use are restricted without cookies.

Facebook social plugin

This offer uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are marked with the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here
be: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When a user calls up a website of this offer that contains such a plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Facebook. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated by it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs the users according to its state of knowledge:
By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has called up the corresponding page of the offer. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to his or her Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example, by clicking the Like button or submitting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out his or her IP address and save it. According to Facebook, only an anonymous IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as the relevant rights and settings to protect the privacy of users, can be found in the Facebook data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about him or her through this offer and link it to his or her membership data stored on Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook before visiting the website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with the “Facebook Blocker”.

Facebook Custom Audiences (Remarketing)

Remarketing tags of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated on our pages. When you visit our pages, the remarketing tags establish a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. This enables Facebook to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We can use the information obtained in this way to display Facebook Ads. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. You can find further information on this in the Facebook privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not wish to collect data via Custom Audience, you can deactivate Custom Audiences here.
