From now until 31 January 2024 artists can apply for the 15th edition of the YOUNG STAGE festival which will be held from 2-6 May 2024 in Basel.
Important information about the application:
– Applications are accepted from artists who are not older than 27 years in May 2024. For groups, the average age counts.
– Artists that have already applied for one of the previous years but have not been selected can apply again. Please send us a new registration!
– Artists who have already taken part in the festival may apply again but need to perform in another discipline.
– The maximum performance time is 6 minutes. The video that you send may be longer, but in case you will be selected for the festival the performance will have to be cut.
– Hotel and meals are free during the stay in Basel and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
– All applicants will be informed about a possible participation around mid-February.
Only applications sent by our OFFICIAL APPLICATION FORM will be accepted. Application deadline is on 31 January 2024.

Technical information about the stage of the festival:
The stage has a dimension of 12 x 8 meters.
It is covered with a dance floor.
It is generally possible to rigg chinese poles or other props.
We have a motor winch for aerials acts.
The rigging point for aerial acts is at a height of about 9 meters.
