Next year, we will light up the stage one last time with fantastic artistic and unforgettable fireworks. We have been able to experience countless magical moments together with many wonderful people. But as we all know, you should stop when it’s at its best. YOUNG STAGE 2025 will be our «Grand Finale», where the entire circus world and all festival fans from the region will come together once again in Basel. Get ready to experience something very special one last time.
We would like to thank all the people, foundations and companies who have supported and accompanied us on our journey – and continue to do so – and we are really looking forward to a fantastic 16th festival edition!

YOUNG STAGE 2025 also promises to be special in terms of content.
The last edition of YOUNG STAGE is planned for May 22-26, 2025. We will remain true to our mission for the last edition and offer young, freshly graduated artists from all over the world the chance to take advantage of the sought-after career springboard in Basel. We will also be inviting former award winners who started their careers at YOUNG STAGE to Basel. Some will appear as guest acts and talk about their careers. Other alumni will act as jury members and present the last YOUNG STAGE awards to their young colleagues at the «Finalissima». We will announce the detailed program in a few months.

What if the Eurovision Song Contest ESC takes place in Basel in May?
Basel has been shortlisted to host the Eurovision Song Contest in May 2025. Should our city be selected, the above-mentioned date for the 16th edition of YOUNG STAGE will have to be postponed due to bottlenecks in the availability of hotels and venues. In this case, an alternative date will be announced as soon as possible.
