Also this year, nearly 200 children from the region will once again have the opportunity to spend their holidays at the circus. The YOUNG STAGE Circus Camps will take place during the first two weeks of the summer-holidays. You can now register for the 2026 Circus Camps.
The YOUNG STAGE International Circus Festival took place from 2007 to 2025, organised by the YOUNG STAGE Basel association. Even though the festival history came to an end, the association continues to exist and will continue to devote itself to a wide range of topics related to circus and artistry.
The International Circus Festival YOUNG STAGE Basel celebrated its grand finale on September 22, 2025, with an emotional gala show after nearly 20 years. The audience responded with standing ovations.
Various prestigious prizes were also awarded on the last day of the festival at the GRANDE FINALE. Nicolás Teusa won the Golden Star for his performance. The unique GRANDE FINALE Award went to Jano Schorno.
