Two weeks of day camps at the circus, 180 children from the region, laughter, artistry, singing, games and loads of fun! That was Circus Camps 2026! We’d like to thank all the artists for taking part, the whole team for their caring and creative support, all the foundations and organisations for their backing, and Station Circus Basel for the beautiful, romantic circus village that was our temporary home.
The YOUNG STAGE International Circus Festival took place from 2007 to 2025, organised by the YOUNG STAGE Basel association. Even though the festival history came to an end, the association continues to exist and will continue to devote itself to a wide range of topics related to circus and artistry.
The International Circus Festival YOUNG STAGE Basel celebrated its grand finale on September 22, 2025, with an emotional gala show after nearly 20 years. The audience responded with standing ovations.
Various prestigious prizes were also awarded on the last day of the festival at the GRANDE FINALE. Nicolás Teusa won the Golden Star for his performance. The unique GRANDE FINALE Award went to Jano Schorno.
